My name is Danielle and I am a walking study in contradictions.
Aside from that, I am a thirty-something psychologist living and working in the suburbs surrounding New York City. I'm a wife to my husband, Sarge, and a "mommy" to my marginally psychotic cat Josie. On January 1st, 2013, we found out that we were expecting a baby. On April 1st, 2013, we were tickled PINK to find out that we are having a girl. She's due in September and we couldn't be more excited.
I will be taking a year off from my job to stay home and take care of our daughter. This will be the first time in 25+ years that I have not either attended school or worked full-time. Needless to say, I am a bit nervous about making the transition!
